2. Eligibility

To use The Room Ring platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you are not prohibited by law from using our services. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration and Social Media Integration

Creating a Room Ring account may involve connecting your social media profile, including Facebook, to enable social graph-based matching. By connecting a social media account, you authorize The Room Ring Solutions Inc. to access the profile information you have made available through that account, including mutual connections, employment history, and educational background, in accordance with the applicable platform's privacy settings and permissions. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Conduct and Community Standards

The Room Ring is built on the principle that finding a roommate should be safe, respectful, and community-driven. You agree to use the platform honestly and in good faith. You may not:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listing or profile information;
  • Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users;
  • Collect or harvest personal information from other users without their consent;
  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation or unauthorized promotional activity;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, data, or other users' accounts;
  • Post listings for properties you do not have the right to list or sublet.

5. No Guarantee of Match or Tenancy

The Room Ring Solutions Inc. provides a platform for connecting potential roommates and does not guarantee that any match will result in a successful living arrangement or executed lease agreement. We are not a party to any rental, sublease, or roommate agreement entered into between users. All decisions regarding roommate selection, rental terms, and living arrangements are made solely by the users involved. The Room Ring is not responsible for the conduct of any user before, during, or after a match.

6. Listings and Accuracy

Users who post room listings are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information they provide. Listings must reflect actual available accommodations and comply with all applicable fair housing laws and local rental regulations. The Room Ring Solutions Inc. does not verify the accuracy of user listings and assumes no liability for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations contained in any listing.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform features, content, branding, matching algorithms, and technology underlying The Room Ring are the property of The Room Ring Solutions Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of platform content or technology is prohibited.

8. SMS Messaging – Promotional Marketing Only

By voluntarily providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive promotional and marketing SMS messages from The Room Ring Solutions Inc.

Participating Carriers include - AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Google Voice, Cellular One, Cellcom, Cellular South, Interop, Clearsky

Carriers are not liable for undelivered or delayed messages.

9. Personal Safety Notice

While The Room Ring uses social media connections to facilitate more trusted matches, we strongly encourage all users to exercise personal safety precautions when meeting potential roommates in person. Always meet first in a public place, inform a trusted friend or family member of your plans, and trust your instincts. The Room Ring Solutions Inc. is not responsible for the personal conduct of any user outside of the platform. If you encounter suspicious or threatening behavior on the platform, please contact us immediately at support@theroomring.com

10. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Our platform integrates with and may link to third-party services including social media platforms and mapping tools. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of any third-party provider. Use of third-party integrations is subject to those providers' own terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Room Ring platform and all associated content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular roommate match will result from use of our services.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Room Ring Solutions Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, any roommate relationship facilitated through the platform, or any tenancy or living arrangement that results from a match. Our total liability to you shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class action.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be posted to theroomring.com and take effect upon posting. Continued use of our platform following any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
